HARLEM SHAKE

Have you heard about the new trend on the internet? It's called Harlem Shake and consists about a short video of 30 seconds. In the first 15 seconds we see some people doing a normal and routinary thing, but one of these people is dancing or doing a strange movement. Then, suddenly, the scene changes and everyone starts doing crazy and strange dancings. 

I just discovered it two days ago, and when I first saw it I thougt: Oh my god! The world has become mad!

And it looks like it's an imminent revolution, just like Gangnam Style. However, I think it's funny, a bit stupid too but... who cares! We need humor in our lives. Here's a compilation I've just found, so judge yourself:

Beyoncé is one of the most desired singers of the moment, she is aware of it and does not want to lie to her followers with images that distort reality, although in many occasions this can be much harsher than reality ...

It's a romantic comedy, this film can makes you laught or cry, or both of them. It's a very nice film, I like it very much.

7. Pride and perjudice: This film tells the story of two people in the 19th centuary, Elithabet Bennet and Mr. Darcy. It's a difficult love but they have a happy end.

I think it's a little bored film but it is very romantic.

6.Jerry Maguire: This film is a romantic drama-comedy film from America. It is romantic and funny, I don't see it, but the trailer looks nice.

5. The Notebook: This film is one of my favourite. It tells the story about two young people whothey love each other until they die. It's a very romantic and nice film. I love it!Their love is so great that they are their whole life long love, it is an infinite love

4. Ever After: It's a film inspired by Cinderella. The film is very romantinc and it's true love.
3. City of Angels: This film is inspired by the modern classic, Wings of Desire, City involves an angel who is spotted by a doctor in an operating room. It's also a very romantic film. I want to see it.

2. Titanic: It's also one of my favourite love films. It's a tragedy and the love is true. I love this film. Always when I watch I must cry.
1. Casa Blanca: It's a classic love film. If you want see romantic, watch Casa Blanca. I don't watch it, but I want.

THE LAST SONG

Today I want to talk about one of my favourite movies: The last song. I already have watched it a hundred times and I could watch it again and again, I'm never getting bored of it. It's a teen romantic drama film by Nicholas Sparks.

The protagonist is a girl named Ronnie (Miley Cyrus) that can play the piano very well, but she ignored the instrument since her parents got divorced three years ago, and she also hates her father for letting her alone. But the mother of Ronnie sends her and her little brother to their father for the summer vacations in North Carolina. After the arrival, Ronnie becomes defensive toward all those around her and she doesn't want to listen to her father. A few days later Ronnie finds a sea turtle nest at the beach by her house and she decids to protect it. She meets Will (Liam Hemsworth), a handsome and popular boy, and they start to develop feelings for each other. Ronnie is happy and she also has a better relationship to her father. But later on, they discover that the father has cancer and that he's going to die very soon, so Ronnie decides to stay with him. The father is composing a song on the piano named „for Ronnie“ but he can't finish it because he is very ill, so Ronnie wants to finish it for him and when she gets it, he dies. At the funeral Ronnie plays on the piano the song her father wrote for her and that she finished. At the end of the film Ronnie and Will are happily in love.

Dear Noa,

I'm so happy to hear that you and your dearest friends will be coming to Malaysia. It will be wonderful to finally meet you. I've been anticipating your visit for a long time already, you know?

I'm sure all of you will have a good time in Malaysia. It's a wonderful place, a real cosmopolitan nation. The weather here is warm and wet most of the time, so bring along plenty of cool summer clothes. When it rains, it can be a little chilly but I'm sure it won't be as cold as the winters in Korea.

In terms of food, you don't have to worry because you can get all kinds of food here in Malaysia, including Korean food. Since all five of you love spiey food, Malaysian food should be no problem at all. Believe me; you won't have any problems with food while you are here. In fact, a lot of foreigners put on weight while they are in Malaysia as they get to taste all types of delicious food here.

When you are in Johor, I'll take you to all the places of interest in this district. I promise you that you will have a great time. You don't have to worry about getting a tour guide I'm with you since I can always drive you around.

OPINION ESSAY: Mobile phones at school

Mobile phones at school

Nowadays more and more students bring their mobile phones to school. While I believe that students should carry mobile phones in case of an emergency, I am strongly opposed to phones being used at school, particularly in the classroom.

Firstly, many students travel to and from school without their parents. Therefore, it is important for them to have a mobile phone in case they need help or have an accident on the way to school or home.

Furthermore, parents who work may need to contact their children. For example, if a parent has to work late, the student has to be told if arrangements have been made for a relative or neighbour to look after them.

On the other hand, nothing is more disruptive during a lesson than the sound of a mobile phone ringing or playing an annoying tune. Moreover, students who send and receive text messages in class are not paying attention to the lesson.

In conclusion, I feel that students should be allowed to take mobile phones to school for use in an emergency. However, all phones  certainly be turned off during lessons.

ORAL PRESENTATION: DISCRIMINATION

This term I did my oral presentation with Xènia. We had to do a oral presentation about a social topic, and we choose the discrimination. Now, I will say, what I think of my oral presentation.

I start with the Presentation, we used a powerpoint, and I think that it was a very good power point. The power point, had very good images and all the images were relationated with the social topic, discrimination.

Referring to Body Language.  I think that it was a good social topic and we are explain so good.

As the presentation was about discrimination, the Structure. We explain the definition, the typs of discrimination and finaly we explains our conclusions and what have to do, if we want to finish with discrimination.

The Content I think that it was short, but we explains the better part of our social topic.

As for the Language, the grammar was correct.

And the Pronunciation was comprehensible I think, but I was so nervous because some times I don't find words to explain something that appeared in my mind at the moment.

SUMMER 2013: the coldest summer since 200 years...

If the predictions are true, the summer of 2013 will be the coldest on record. Because, according to the predictions of the French Canal Meteo, there is a 70% chance that there is a complete absence of summer in Western Europe, becoming colder and wetter since 1816.

IBIZA'13

One of the best surprises I had this year is the notice that I will go to Ibiza the lasts days of June with my stepfather, my stepbrother, my sisters and their respective friends and with my best friend Noa! I'm very excited and I really want to go to the Island that never sleep... I hope we will got too party, beach, sun, relax and a lot of fun!

ABLE TO HAVE A JOB

Summer is coming very soon and also work activity, so this holidays I will have a job for the first time, because I had 16 years old since October and the last summer I could'nt work. This year probably I will work in a Supermarket or in a hotel near the beach, I want to work because I would like to have my own money and have this experiencie, meet people, etc.

SPRING BREAK PARTY

About a month ago, in Castelló d'Empúries, there was a very big party, the Spring Break Party for greet the new season. It was organitzades by the Paller Club, and really it became a success! A lot of people around the region attend it. It was a festival, I really enjoy it I went there with all my friends.

CARNIVAL 2013

Two weeks ago, Castelló d'Empúries was celebrating Carnival a very big and great party, it's one of the biggest and important festivals of the year. I love Carnival, maybe it's my favourite celebration because everybody from the zone comes to the party and there are a lot of people, and see the carnival's floats and with the disguise people, it's very funny to see.

First of all Carnival started in Roses on Friday and the next day we went to St Pere Pescador, we passed a very great time but the next weekend in Empuriabrava and Castelló was better, me and my friends were disguise  of fairys and elfs. You can see here some photos:)

New year's resolutions

2013 started and in my head I have new resolutions. I'm going to make a list with my new resolutions..

1. Study more and get better grades.
2. Spend more time with my family.
3. Do sport and be healthier.
4. Have a really good time this year, and make good new memories.
5. Be more confident.
6. Be more mature. 
7. Make my parents proud.
8. Be outgoing. 
9. Face my fears. 
10. Live more.

MY CLOTHES AND ME

I think fashion is an important fact of industry and also an important part of our lives, but with a limit. I like fashion but I'm not considered a fashion victim. My kind of clothes is a bit ordinary. I like very much to wear complements like scarfs, earrings... but I don't wear very much neckless or bracelets. I'm considered my style of dress normal and ordinary. When I go out I like very much to wear high heels and big earrings and get elegant. Brands are not important for me because there are the same clothes everywhere, the only thing is that brands have a better quality but I don't care about that. My favourite style is to look classy or smart. I like chic clothes but also fashionable and formal.
